Our Mission

It is the philosophy of Bright Beginnings that childhood should be a time of fun, warmth, security, exploring and discovery. Preschool children are creative and receptive; the staff strives to nurture and encourage these qualities in the children who attend.

Our Purpose

Our purpose is to provide an atmosphere that encourages social, emotional, physical, and intellectual growth and development of the child as a whole. Planned within the framework of philosophy and purpose, Bright Beginnings’ curriculum includes sharing and conversation time; stories, songs, and finger plays; creative art activities and crafts; games and large muscle activities; exposure to shapes, colors, numbers, letters, science experiments; and celebration of birthdays and holidays.

BRIGHT BEGINNINGS is a not-for-profit organization of the Hopewell Reformed Church. All revenue raised is used to cover operational expenses of the school. The provision of housing by the Hopewell Reformed Church enables the school to offer quality in staffing, equipment and programming.

Please feel free to visit at any time. We are happy to provide any further information you wish to know about our preschool program or any of the other activities of the Hopewell Reformed Church.

Hands-on, developmentally appropriate experiences in Science, Art and Music will provide opportunities for our children to explore the world around them, interact with their peers, and make their own choices. Through everyday activities, our teachers provide positive role models and demonstrate traditional family values. We emphasize the spiritual principles of God’s care and love which grows out of our Christian traditions.
